CHRISTIAN EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

 

Graduation Time

MISSION STATEMENT: The Christian Education Department (CED), in keeping with the mission and vision of Bride of Christ Church Ministries, seeks to provide the instructional emphasis of this Ministry of Preparation. Through sound Biblical principles, the CED will utilize practical teachings that will enable ministry participants (infants-adults) to demonstrate, daily, a holy lifestyle.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

MISSION STATEMENT: The Children's Church ministry, in keeping with the mission and vision of Bride of Christ Church Ministries, seeks to provide children aged three (3) - twelve (12) years a firm, foundational knowledge of the Bible. This ministry strives to impart the following enduring understandings through interactive, hands-on lessons: Jesus is Lord.

The Bible is the book we live by.
God has a plan and a purpose for our lives.

YOUTH MINISTRY

MISSION STATEMENT: The Youth Ministry, in keeping with the mission and vision of Bride of Christ Church Ministries, seeks to provide youth aged thirteen (13) - eighteen (18) years a Scriptural basis for forming and maintain a relationship with God. This ministry strives to impart the following enduring understandings through dynamic, life application oriented lessons:
God has a plan and a purpose for our lives.
Holiness is a lifestyle.
A relationship with God is fulfilling.

GUIDING SCRIPTURE: 1Timothy 4:12
"Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY

MISSION STATEMENT: The Young Adult Ministry, in keeping with the mission and vision of Bride of Christ Church Ministries, seeks to provide young adults aged nineteen (19) through twenty-nine (29) years a firm, foundational knowledge of evangelizing and discipling others and maintaining Godly relationships. This ministry strives to impart the following enduring understandings through interactive, hands-on lessons:
The Great Commission still needs to be fulfilled.
Bible-based relationships have been created for our protection.
God has a plan and a purpose for our lives

ADULT MINISTRY

MISSION STATEMENT: The Adult Ministry, in keeping with the mission and vision of Bride of Christ Church Ministries, seeks to provide adults aged thirty (30) through fifty-nine (59) years practical knowledge of maintaining a Godly lifestyle. This ministry strives to impart the following enduring understandings through interactive, analytical lessons:
Holiness is a lifestyle.
The Spiritual walk is one of growth and discovery.
God has a plan and a purpose for our lives

SENIOR'S MINISTRY

MISSION STATEMENT: The Senior's Ministry, in keeping with the mission and vision of Bride of Christ Church Ministries, seeks to provide seniors aged sixty (60) and over practical knowledge in reproducing those who will carry on the work of the Gospel. This ministry strives to impart the following enduring understandings through interactive, discussion-based, and workshop lessons:
Mentoring is a Biblical principle.
The greatest leader is the leader who serves.
God has a plan and a purpose for our lives

GUIDING SCRIPTURE: Titus 2:1-3
" But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things."

KEEPING IN TOUCH (KIT)

MISSION STATEMENT: To establish a communication link between the members and the Pastor. KIT will facilitate an awareness of spiritual, financial, and physical well-being of the membership. Through regular contact, the members will be assured of God’s love and the love of the local congregation.

Men’s Leadership Conference 2006 – Take Charge!

MEN OF PURPOSE

MISSION STATEMENT: This ministry is designed to prepare men to raise up a standard of righteousness in the earth. The members will be equipped to become effective leaders in their homes, church, communities, and, ultimately, the world.

GUIDING SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 19:21 (NIV)
” Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the LORD’s
purpose that prevails.”

The Heritage of the Lord

MUSIC DEPARTMENT

MISSION STATEMENT: To provide music that is conducive to
praise and worship, creating an atmosphere that is yielded to the presence of the Holy Spirit at all times. To promote the vision of this local church through music.

GUIDING SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 5:19
"Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual
songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. "

MOVEMENTS OF PRAISE (MOP) THE MINISTRY OF LITURGICAL DANCE

Lift Him Up

MISSION STATEMENT: To utilize liturgical dance as a medium of praise and worship to the Lord Jesus Christ. MOP is a vehicle for presenting the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It also serves as a creative expression both naturally and spiritually within the local church.

Mission Statement: To actively promote fellowship among the women of Bride of Christ Church Ministries (BOCCM) and the community by providing spiritual guidance and enrichment.

"I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God: for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. "
