Dr. Benjamin Warren Rucker was born in Anderson, South Carolina, the youngest of three children. His parents, Jason and Dora Rucker, taught him the rudiments of Christianity. Armed with a strong spiritual background, Pastor Rucker successfully completed his High School education. He then pursued and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Hampton University. After college, Pastor Rucker served as an educator on the High School level in Aiken, SC. Subsequently, Pastor Rucker relocated to Washington D.C. and joined the staff of Roosevelt Senior High School.
In 1989, Pastor Rucker gave his life to Christ and submitted himself under the authority of his local church. While there, he served in various capacities within the ministry. After studying and internalizing the Word of God, Pastor Rucker accepted his call from God to preach the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He and his wife, Dr. Enjé Rucker, have been avid crusaders for seeking and saving those that are lost. Pastor and First Lady Rucker have also been blessed to raise four beautiful children.
Pastor Rucker earned a Master’s and a Doctor of Theology Degree (Th.D.) from Andersonville Theological Seminary. In addition, Pastor Rucker received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree (D.D.) from Eastern Carolina Theological Institute. This man of God uses Biblical principles to teach individuals how to actualize success in their Christian walk.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit in April 2001, Pastor Benjamin W. Rucker resolved to follow the instructions of God and establish Bride of Christ Church Ministries (BOCCM) that would be independent of denominational ties. Approximately one year later, Pastor Rucker, an obedient servant of the Lord, took a leap of faith, founded BOCCM, a Ministry of Preparation, and opened the doors of the church on May 5, 2002.
Pastor Benjamin Rucker is known for his diligence in preparing people to move to their next level of purpose. His sensitivity and compassion for the lost is evident in his ability to effect change in their lives. Pastor Rucker believes that the mind is where all battles are won or lost. He challenges individuals to exercise proper stewardship in managing their minds.
Dr. Benjamin W. Rucker is a true disciple of Jesus Christ and has submitted himself to the teachings of Dr. Myles Munroe. Pastor Rucker is also a member of ITWLA (International Third World Leaders Association). He has been the keynote speaker at several seminars, workshops, men’s retreats, and Sunday worship services. He remains steadfast in the things of God and has committed himself to be a willing vessel, used by God, to prepare souls for the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
